Brian Hoffman’s A Tribute to Red Skelton

Wednesday, April 5, 2017
Show Time: 7:00pm

Brian’s expert portrayal of Red Skelton will have you in stitches with some of Red’s most well known characters. Laugh with Clem Kadiddlehopper, giggle with Gertrude and Heathcliffe, and feel the love of Freddy the Freeloader. Add a little “Guzzlers Gin” and some pantomimes and you’ll be remembering Red Skelton, America´s favorite clown.

“Mr. Hoffman’s tribute reminds us that Red’s clean family humor and love of country should still have a place in today’s world.” – Associated Press

Brian Hoffman’s career started as a way to relieve stress and break up the monotony that life sometimes throws at a person.

Years of Over-the-Road truck driving, door-to-door cold call direct sales, then moving on to become a used car salesman and finally a Service Writer at a 5 Star Dodge dealership gave Brian Hoffman the perfect material to work with.

Real life is funnier than make believe and Brian took his life experiences to the stages of comedy clubs and open mic nights all over Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and parts of Michigan.

Performing in many of the local Comedy Clubs once or twice a year was not enough to satisify the joy of making people laugh. Brian started booking his own gigs for small companies and private organizations.

Brian Hoffman would scout open mic nights for talented up and coming acts knowing that the only way to perfect an act is to do an act. His ability to recruit beginners and help fine tune their routines made him a favorite returning act for many of the clubs and lodges where he performed.

Brian’s comedic delivery was very similar in style to a major comedy genius, Richard (Red ) Bernard Skelton.

Celebrity Impersonator shows usually consist of “Singing Tribute Artists” such as Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and lately Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga.

Brian took the road less traveled to re-create one of the greatest comedy legends in America. His comedy career of impersonating Red Skelton has not only allowed him to perform in Las Vegas, the “Entertainment Capitol of the World”, but travel and entertain baby boomers all over the United States.

His ability to look, walk and sound like Red Skelton takes the audiences back in time and sometimes forget that they are not watching the “Real Red Skelton”

As Red would say at the end of his show “Goodnight for now and may God bless.”

Gilman burst onto the national stage in 2000 releasing the hit single “One Voice.” His debut album was certified double platinum in the United States, and he was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest singer to ever reach #1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts. He has sold five million albums worldwide and garnered awards and nods from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, Billboard Magazine, and the American Music Association.

Now 28, Gilman is eager to come back and share his new music and his new sound with his fans on NBC’s THE VOICE: SEASON 11. “It took me a good while to figure out exactly who I was, musically speaking. As a little kid, sometimes I was just told what to sing. But now I have enjoyed coming into my own and discovering what it really is that I want to sing. And I think that my fans will be pleasantly surprised with what they hear.”

Gilman instantly became a fan favorite week after week with his soaring vocals and amazing song choices and went right to the finale of Season 11’s finale. His coach Adam Levine of Maroon 5 himself said “You can emote so well. You can draw people in so easily,” Levine added. “What you do — you have a very special gift, and I’m just really proud and honored to have you on my team.” Nabbing runner up and winning over the hearts of millions. Speaking of millions, Gilman scored over 31 million views on YouTube in four short months during his sensational run on the show. The closest competitor was 7 million views behind!!

Gilman is also mindful of the need to be patient with his career. “Music is my life, and it is always what I will be doing with my life. But I understand, given my unusual history, that the road back is not going to be short and easy. I will have to earn my way back into this business—one fan at a time. And that’s exactly how it should be. So far so good!!”

Show Time: 7 pm
Savannah Center, 1545 Buena Vista Blvd, The Villages, Florida 32162
TICKETS ON SALE MARCH 16

It is March 1946. In the past year, Winston Churchill has led Britain and the Allies to victory in the European Theatre of World War II. He has also shockingly been defeated for re-election as Prime Minister. Sitting in forced retirement with his wife Clementine at their Chartwell home, Churchill receives an invitation from President Harry Truman to speak in the States…at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he will deliver his legendary, emphatic “Iron Curtain” speech. He arrives in Fulton to an informal and esoteric gathering of friends and supporters, and shares his life in flashback and in storytelling.

Experience the man who famously proclaimed, “I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter…” In CHURCHILL, the influential Nobel Prize laureate discusses his failures and his successes; his love of art, liquor and women; and the bravery of Britain’s finest hour.

Composing a catalogue that includes fifteen studio albums and five live albums, KANSAS has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums (Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Best of KANSAS), one platinum live album (Two for the Show), and two one million-selling gold singles, ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ and ‘Dust in the Wind.’ KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the ‘70’s and ‘80’s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ continues to be one of the top five most played songs on classic rock radio, and ‘Dust In the Wind’ has been played on the radio more than three million times!

2016 marks the release of “The Prelude Implicit,” KANSAS’s fifteenth studio album. The wide-ranging progressive rock album is released on InsideOut Music, and marks the band’s first studio album release in 16 years.

The band, which is currently comprised of original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, keyboardist David Manion, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams, continues to perform in front of large and enthusiastic audiences around the world.

Along with constant touring, KANSAS continues to remain a fixture of Classic Rock radio. The band has reached a whole new audience through their unmistakable presence on the popular video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and through their songs’ inclusion in various television shows such as ‘Supernatural,’ and ‘South Park,’ and with films ‘Old School,’ and ‘Anchorman.’
