In support of Crossroads for Women / Carrefour pour femmes and #20KSockDay
Travis Furlong has been playing the blues since he was 17. After playing in various local blues groups, he became lead guitarist with Glamour Puss Blues Band in 1995. Over the years he’s done many tours of Canada, as well as U.S.A and Europe. Having won 3 ECMA’s, Travis was nominated, again for blues artist of the year, in 2017 for another ECMA, along with Dave Smith, for Furlong & Smith’s “Blues You Can Use” acoustic cd.
We are excited to announce that not only are we supporting Crossroads for Women / Carrefour pour femmes with the proceeds from the raffle of an autographed guitar during the Matt Minglewood show on December 28th, we will also be collecting new warm socks for the #20KSockDay initiative. All women’s and children’s socks will go to Crossroads, all men’s socks will be donated to another local charity! Let’s all #putasockinit and drop some #socksinthebox at the show!
